| Historic Significance: |
Sitting aside a restored caboose, this charming Victorian structure was built in 1899 and has always been a well-loved landmark in Forsyth. Major renovation was completed in 1993, including a modern museum and genealogy room. Next door is the restored freight depot built in 1917. Across the parking lot is a well-preserved stone building built in 1846 which served as an unloading point for wounded Confederated troops during the Civil War. |
