The Middle Georgia Preservation Directory is sponsored and
administered by the members of the Middle Georgia Historic
Preservation Advisory Committee (HPAC).
The Middle Georgia Historic Preservation Advisory Committee (HPAC)
is a group of locally appointed area citizens working actively
together to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of our
region.
Representing the eleven counties and twenty-two cities that make up
our region this committee works
closely with the staff of the Middle Georgia Regional Development
Center (RDC) to coordinate a variety of historic preservation
activities in Middle Georgia. Partnering with representatives from
state and local governments, downtown authorities,
convention/visitor bureaus, non-governmental organizations,
interested residents, and other persons active in historic
preservation, this group seeks to provide educational opportunities
and support for activities related to the conservation of our
shared, priceless, heritage legacy.
